Document Verification
Selected candidates present original certificates (Mark sheets, TC, Community certificate) to the departmental admission scrutiny committee.
Fee Settlement & ID Card
Complete nominal semester fee settlement with official receipt generation and student identification card issuance.
Eligibility Guidelines by Degree Level
Minimum educational prerequisites for admission to our 17+ degree programs.
B.A. / B.Sc. / B.Com / BBA
Pass in Higher Secondary Examination (10+2 / HSC) conducted by the Government of Tamil Nadu or equivalent recognized board with qualifying marks in major subjects.
- Arts: Any HSC academic stream.
- Science: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics / Biology.
- Commerce / BBA: Commerce, Accountancy, Business Maths.
M.A. / M.Sc. / M.Com
Bachelor's degree under the 10+2+3 pattern from Madurai Kamaraj University or any recognized university in the relevant major or allied branch of study.
- M.A. English: B.A. English or allied literature degree.
- M.Sc. Math / Physics / CS: Relevant B.Sc. major.
- M.Com / M.Com CA: B.Com, BBA, or Corporate Secretaryship.
Ph.D & M.Phil Programmes
Master's degree with a minimum qualifying percentage (55% for general, 50% for reserved categories) and clearance of MKU entrance examination / UGC-NET / CSIR-NET.
- MKU Recognized Research Centre for English Literature.
- Doctoral supervision under recognized guides.
- Pre-doctoral M.Phil foundation training.
